Don't know about the gateway issue, but some other notes:

Directory connection failed
>> Per TAC, this one is normal if it doesn't happen constantly. You can
use the DBLHelper application to see if replication is working normally.

Call Manager heartbeat rate below 24 beats per minute.
>>This is normal if it doesn't happen constantly. I typically see this
whenever the Pub is running a big job, such as a BARS backup.

Number of RouteListExhausted events exceed 10 within 60 minutes
>>This means just what it says--you went through an entire route list
and the call setup failed. I typically see large amounts of these errors
if the route list points to an intercluster trunk when somebody dials a
non-existed number across that trunk. For example, your route pattern
pointing to the ICT is something like [3-4]xxx and somebody dials 3456,
but 3456 isn't valid on the other cluster.

Number of registered gateways decreased
Number of registered gateways increased
MGCP DChannel is out-of-service
Number of MediaListExhausted events exceed 10 within 60 minutes
>>As you mention elsewhere, this is frustrating since you have to dig
deep into trace files to see what MRGL is having trouble. Common
problems I have seen here are g729 calls that go to ATAs (a two-port ATA
can only handle one g729 call at a time), and g729 calls to CME systems
that forward to CUE (CUE can only handle g711 and requires transcoding
otherwise).
