Hi Folks,

  I am practicing msdp between two different AS. I was wondering if i am using PimV2 or auto-RP, how can i filter RP request from one AS to another.

  I can use

  ip multicast boundary auto_rp

  ip access-list st auto_rp
  deny host 224.0.1.39
  deny host 224.0.1.40
  permit any

  OR in case of BSR(PimV2)

  i can use
  ip pim bsr-border

  What is the difference?

  Please advise.
