Dear GS

I have a nagging question i need to get out of my system.

I know the DOC link says that the rate limit command uses the following
formula to calculate the min. burst value.

min. Burst = police rate/8 x 1.5s

I have been seeing some other references(not Cisco site) saying that

min. Burst = police rate/8

Can someone please confirm which one should be used in a question, and if at
all there is any reason to use the second formula
where would it be applicable?
