My theory is that the IE test writers do this on purpose to make sure that
CCIE candidates understand that there isn't always a definite 100 percent
answer and this vagueness is the hardest part of this lab exam. I have
seen discussions in the IE forums on this and there never seems to be a
direct answer either.
Another example of this would be the snmp-server enable traps command or
lack thereof in certain labs.
Another possibility is that Brian and Brian are just evil teachers who like
messing with us =).
