1544 is the maximum BIT count of a T1. 1536 is the maximum USABLE bit count
(the other 8k is framing).

So if you want to be accurate, I'd stick with 1.536M.

Subject: 1544 or 1536

Hi,

On SGs, I see both "bandwidth 1544" and "bandwidth 1536"

What criteria should be used to select one or the other ?

thanks,
Navid
