I think the DocCD would have been handy in that interview unless you are
rainman :)

Doh!
I hate such interviews, it's not as if I want to be a researcher in one
of the MIT labs, is it?
A Customer wouldn't ask me what the 2 most unused flags in TCP is, will
they?
Ok, maybe google needs lab engineers, or researchers or something,
because I don't get? As a specialist for few years now, all that is
required of me is to design according to customer's specification and
provide 3rd line support when things are going A-wire!
What do you guys think?
Many Thanks
Yemi Salau

Hello All,
I was surprised to see the thread resurrected again. I did take the
interview
a couple of weeks ago. Didnt get through although i felt I did well.
Like most
of you had mentioned, there was a hint that the package wouldnt be all
that
great.
Although there was network trivia like the working of a traceroute.
There was
a few pretty in depth questions, like what are the two most unused flags
in
TCP. They also asked about CSPF about which i had no idea.
Cheers,
Calvino
