I pay a lot of attention to culture as I ended up at a Big Four
consulting
firm due to not taking that into consideration. You spend too many
hours per
week at a job to be miserable the entire time. I would rather have a
mohawk
and conduct large-scale Nerf raids against the Linux team while driving
my 96
Jetta than have to stay clean cut and polished while driving a new
Lexus.
Besides, after this CCIE thingamajigger is done, even the low-end pay
rate
isn't bad.
With a few exceptions, secrecy is deeply incompatible with democracy and
with
science.
