If you do a debug ip packet on the R2 side, do you see packets going out?
Do you have a route on R2 to 192.168.4.2?

Subject: Auto-install over Frame-relay

Hi,

I tried to configure auto-install over Frame-relay but it doesn't seem to
work My setup is the following :

TFTP(pc)-------R1-----FR-----R2

R1 and R2 are connect back to back , R1 has the DCE connector

R2 will need to get his config from R1

interface Serial0/3/0.1 point-to-point
 ip address 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.252
 ip helper-address 192.168.4.2
 frame-relay interface-dlci 101 protocol ip 192.168.2.2 end

I don't see any packets coming in to the tftp -server ( sniffed it ).
According to cisco doc this should be the config .

Does anybody have an idea ?
