RE: CCIE create TAC support will bypass the first level

We are in EST (-5 GMT) US.

We called in a CCIE Voice from a vendor to fix unity. Well, after hours
support is not very good. Our case was opened in Australia, and then bounced
to Hong Kong (I think).

I'm not saying they said "check the nic card". The CCIE was embarrassed.

Cisco likes to say "Follow the Sun", meaning they have resources in every
time zone ready to support. I don't care what your certification is, if you
don't get the right person on the phone, you're better off hanging up and
reading the cisco discussion forum for guys like "Thisishanky"'s posts.

Subject: CCIE create TAC support will bypass the first level support, is
that true?

Hi Group,

I heard that if a CCIE open a TAC case, it will be automatically escalate
and bypass the first level support.
Can someone point me to the doc where stats this? I am just curious if this
is really the case. Thank you!

Panda
