Yes you will need PVDM's and they will install into the NM-HDV - not
directly to the motherboard.
Also keep in mind that you will need PVDMs - not PVDM2s.
However you will probably buy a NM-HDV with the PVDMs already
installed - so keep that in mind when purchasing.
There are quite a number of derivatives to the main part number NM-
HDV - so make sure you get the right ones - and depending on what you
get - you may need more than one - but with 4 slots in a 3640 that
should be no problem.
