You can use command
Sh vlan-switch
To see what vlans are configured.
And yes, all things as vtp domain name, vtp server/client/transparent,
vtp password, all is in old fashion way - vlan database.

Subject: Help Dynamips

Team,
I am about to use the Dynamips emulation and it looks great until I
starting configuring the switchs....so far the following are the
problems that I am having:

1 - When I go to config t and try to create my vlans...(there is not
options for creating vlans here), the only way to create my vlans is
going to vlan database and then be able to create the vlans.

2 - I can not change the vtp domain, type..... from the config t.....

3 - After i create my vlans via the old way (vlan database) I do not see
my vlans after I exit the vlan database mode.....

FYI I downloaded the configuration's recomendation from
Internetworkexpert site in order to use their's demo lab......

FYI...I already have my own hardware lab at home but I am thinking to
use Dynamips at office or any where else so I do not have to remotely
logon to my lab at home.....See below what I mean....

Rack1SW1#config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Rack1SW1(config)#vlan ?
accounting VLAN accounting configuration Rack1SW1(config)#vlan %
Incomplete command.
Rack1SW1(config)#
Rack1SW1(config)#
Rack1SW1(config)#vtp mode ?
% Unrecognized command
Rack1SW1(config)#vtp ?
file Configure IFS filesystem file where VTP configuration is
stored.
if-id Configure interface as the preferred source for the VTP IP
updater
         address.
Rack1SW1(config)#vtp
% Incomplete command.
Rack1SW1(config)#
Rack1SW1(config)#

Do I am missing anything here....what is going on....

Thanks for your help.....(I hope there is fix for this)....

Juan
