value of the CCIE certification in other disciplines

I'm just finishing up a lab from IE WB VOL II, v4.1 and I can't help but
wonder.

 

Do you guys/gals see the problem solving value in getting the Cert, as far
as general LIFE thinking skills development, logical conclusions drawn under
stress, etc. This could apply even if you don't want to do Cisco.

 

For instance could you imagine a doctor, or even a police officer that had
the step by step, discipline we build our lives around while we are getting
the cert.

 

I'm thinking Cisco CCIE training should be an elective part of many
professions.
