Hi Mike,

Below tools, are my favorite testing softwares, especially I use them
qos, firewall tests.

1. Packet Crafters
2. QoS
3. Platform.

1, Packet Crafting, for layer-2 and 3.+ application testing
   Netwag, (all in one tool)
   hping3 (firewall testing, + misc )
nemessis ( for routing protocol packet injection, + misc)

2, End to End Testing software (Application Servers)
honeybot : Honeypot systems can use for the basic server-side
applications. My favorite ise honeybot. There is no need to install
full-feature server side application. This can program monitor the client
side requests. Although a router can open some server side applications but
usage is not effectively then this

3,Integrated basic system:
VM + dynamips, with integrated them all in one platform makes easier for
end-to-end node tests.

Old good days testing :) I have to use minimum. 2 Router + 2 PC + HUB +
alot of serverside programs + unstable ethereal gui :) + more patient !
