I don't think that should be problem..just like in any other company
it's the hiring manager who normally calls for the interview, and then
they together with hr personnel decide whtere you are employable..

I know people who have moved from partners straight on to work for cisco
directly by applying from their website... there is no hard and fast
rule...

But if you are CCIE I don't think its worth working for Cisco. They
don't pay that well as a partner would...

Speaking from Experience, Cisco will not interview you directly if they
are
aware you are working for a partner. I know you may go in through some
agent
and this is AFAIK. But i heard of some saying you can be.
I asked this Question last year on the GS too.
