Hi dear all,
What is the correct behaviour...I have a serial interface on a router that
is still up even if all the dlci are inactive.
Should't the line protocol be down ?
R1#sh int ser 0/1/0
Serial0/1/0 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is GT96K Serial
Internet address is 155.1.0.1/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation FRAME-RELAY, loopback not set
R1#sh fram pvc | i Serial
PVC Statistics for interface Serial0/1/0 (Frame Relay DTE)
DLCI = 102, DLCI USAGE = UNUSED, PVC STATUS = INACTIVE, INTERFACE =
Serial0/1/0
DLCI = 103, DLCI USAGE = UNUSED, PVC STATUS = INACTIVE, INTERFACE =

DLCI = 104, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = INACTIVE, INTERFACE =
