why use 6500 switch?

Hi group,

I have question that fills my mind for a while.

when should I offer to buy 6500 for a project?

according to cisco Core,distributed and access layer model ,we have not a
place for extra high density port switch like 6500,

according to that thus we should use 6500 for other purposes? like its
specific cards?
