If it is anthing like my last few jobs - basically
come when you want and leave when you want...
Your work and your commitments go with you...
This means nights, weekends, holidays, vacation,
training/classes, whatever...
You are owned if nothing else by your sense of
responsibility.
I'm sure there are some who can find a way to take
advantage of this work environment.
But in my case, I have a conference bridge number that
allows me to host meetings anywhere.
I have VPN and OOB access as well and don't we all
carry cell phones or black/blue berries...
My job is remote support to certain client sites, ad
hoc to others, and in general about 40-80 specific
sites and about 1600 potential sites.
Even our favorite instructors here sport some
interesting hours.
