Folks,
Lets assume I have a scenario like this :
Make sure R1 reaches a.b.c.d via PPP link between R1 and R2. if this PPP
link is gone down, it should choose the ethernet link between R1 and R2 ...
Now, you go ahead and configure your network for the same. You know it will
work, but during actual exam is it really required to shut the PPP link and
see if things are really going via the ethernet link ? If we try this out,
it might be time consuming. How will the procter verify this part of the
solution ? Any guesses ? Will he really shut the interface and see what path
it takes ?
Things can go much time consuming if you are using a back interface command
with a huge timer say, 5 mins or so. What would be the best practice for
verification ?
