How To Run Cisco IOS On PC......!!

Hello Folks ,

I have passed written exam and ready to study for lab.
I am interested to run Cisco IOS on my notebook.
I need more information to build up this virtual lab.

Where I have to start to build up this virtual lab? Any guideline ?
Please can you advise for HW/SW requirements ? - OS Linux ? -WinXP ?
Emulation programmes?
