You should post the configurations for the routers so that people are
not just guessing as to what the problem is. Also the output of the
"show ip route" and "show ip bgp" from each router may also help.

Subject: bgp updates no propageted

all,
i have a ppp link where the interfaces are ppp encapsulated and they can
ping each other. i have established a bgp neighbor hood between them and
the
session up. the problem is the updates never come cross between the two.
when
i do debuging i see this meassage:
*Nov 13 19:46:36.957: BGP: Regular scanner
event timer
*Nov 13 19:46:36.957: BGP: Import timer expired. Walking from 1 to
1
i also see the sesion up when i do the "sh ip bpg sum" i also see
session
established when i do "sh ip bgp nei"

which is not an indication for
anything. any thoughts
