That's my point ;-) Anyone paying $5,500 for 3825's to prepare for the lab is like buying a chainsaw to clip your nails with ;-) The 3640's are fine to use for preparation.

I don't believe that this will add any more complexity on the routers,
than maybe some additional switches within the 38xx series. But the
functionality within IOS shouldn't be that much different, or any
different at all.

What features are you expecting to see in the R&S lab that are specific
to the 3725 or 3825 but not the 3640 or 7206?

On the Cisco website, they are saying that the 3600 will be removed
11/13 and 3725/3825 will be the main routers. Since Dynagen only
supports 3600 and 7200, any expert opinion on which platform is closer
to 3700/3800? My guess is that overkill with 7200 is probably the way to
go?
