Agree - In fact from my own vantage point - I've
stopped worrying about every nook and cranny feature
and am just focusing on core issues.

The 3640 is plenty for the lab - and is supported.

Hell, two of my buddies are starting out with their
CCIE studies and I'm telling them plain and clearly -
why spend a fortune when I will give you a 2500 series
rack that does at least 80 points...
