Hi, the question is regarding IEWB Lab9 8.1, but it is a general
question anyway. I always seem to have trouble on developing a
solution to matching traffic for a MQC. In this particular example all
traffic from a router to the backbone needs to be shaped. The solution
puts everything into a class-default and matched all traffic out to
the backbome to be shaped. I did a match on the DLCI:
class-map match-all FRAME_SHAPING
match fr-dlci 51
policy-map FRAME_SHAPING
class FRAME_SHAPING
shape average 5000000 160000 80000
The outputs from the Rack1R6#sh policy-map interface s0/0 command are
identical via either the class-default or the match fr-dlci and to my
untrained eye I assume they do the same. I just want to know is it my
matching on the DLCI also correct? If not, could someone please
explain?
TIA JB
