RE: 3640 will not load image

  I found the meory stick that is giving me the problem. The router won't boot with this stick when it's in either bank. The other 3 sticks will boot from bank 0 and 1 respectively. But I am not able to boot from bank 0, 1 and 2. Although either one of these sticks will boot from bank 0 and 1. Below is the output of a good boot as well as the bad one. Also the bootrom info. What do you suggest?

removing 2 and 4 allows the device to boot, swap out
those two individually.
Try 1 and 2 in slots 1 and 3, then try 1 and 4 in
slots 1 and 3. That should tell you if the issue is
with the one that was in slot 2 or the one that was in
slot 4.
