I could be completely wrong but as you know this list is build on top of
other opinions about the understanding of the technology..
So I would think that is because is you receive a Bust of Packet of the
Maximum Size available, and if the sum of all this packet exceed the BC then
you would not have that delay time to transmit what you have in the BE
Bucket...
You must have to have a method to permit Voice Traffic to be scheduled first
in that Shaping Queue in order to avoid large packets to be sent first; also
you need to control how voice traffic is sent out the interface something
like CAC.
So looking this at the router I think that this Queuing Feature to enqueue
packet in the front of this Shaping Q should be like this:
policy-map GOOD-VOICE
class VOICE
priority 16
policy-map TEST
class class-default
shape average 64000 8000 0
service-policy GOOD-VOICE
!
end
class-map match-all VOICE
match access-group 101
