Reflector Port should be a port that is not being used. Pick any port on the switch that is not being used.

Subject: RSPAN

Folks,

source---S1===trunk===S2---Sniffer

if i configure the RSPAN and assign the reflector port
to be the trunk port as above from source switch the
trunk goes down. How do we fix this ? F0/13 is a trunk
port.

my config is as follows:
S1
!
monitor session 1 source interface Fa0/1
monitor session 1 destination remote vlan 901
reflector-port Fa0/13
!
S2
!
monitor session 1 destination interface Fa0/1
monitor session 1 source remote vlan 901
!

Any inputs are welcome,

Thank you,
