Intra area vs inter area

I have pondering over this OSPF issue for the last two hours in the lab.
Tried it with confusing results.

I have Router A and ROuter B
Router A
Interface e0 - Area 150
Interface e1 - Area 100

Router B
Interface e1 - Area 100

Router A should only allow intra-area routes to Area 100.
Also, I advertise a default route to area 100

Router A config
router ospf 5
  network e0 area 150
  network e1 area 100
  area 100 stub no-summary

Router B config
router ospf 5
  network e1 area 100
  area 100 stub

I tried it out and it works as far as default route being advertised into the area.
But it didn't allow any intra area routes.
Can someone comment on where I am wrong or right ?

I also thought of the same question with a different scenario ..
Router A should only allow inter-area routes to Area 100

Both questions have me confused between inter-area and intra-area and getting the desired result.
