Chaps,
i have been working on QOS and i have got a question.
say ,host 150.1.9.36 <http://150.1.9.36> is a web server sending traffic ,
(funnily enough)
give a minimum of 5mb for all web traffic from this host out of r5 to r6 to
5mb.
and use the MQC only and NO ACL's .
r5 to r6 are on ethernet.
lets say we going to do this on e0/0 in
usually i would do this with an ACL.
ie.
ip access-list 100 permit 150.1.9.36 <http://150.1.9.36> eq 80 any any
class-map http
match address 100
policy-map web
class htttp
bandwidth 5000000
can i do this
ip prefix-list host permit 150.1.9.36/32 <http://150.1.9.36/32> le 32
class-map http
match address prefix-list host (can't rmemeber exact commands i am doing
this without a router)
match protocol http
policy-map web
class htttp
bandwidth 5000000
i dont think i can ,
can someone confirm for me please !
and also ,
what would be the best way to match an ip address and a protocol type
WITHOUT using an extended ACL.
TIA
steve
