It was my understanding that when you configure "spanning-tree portfast
bpdufilter default" global command...that all connected interfaces are put in
portfast mode, unless they receive a bpdu, which at this point, it revert out
of portfast.
Testing this out, I configured a router on a switchport (routing, so as not to
send bpdu's)....then, after setting the global command of spanning-tree
portfast bpdufilter default.....
running the show spanning-tree details.....the details only show that it is a
shared port and not in portfast. However, I can go to the port specifically
and enable portfast (and it shows up). If portfast is truly enabled, then is
it possible to view in another place? Or, am I missing something?
