IE Core Lab 6:

configuring PPPoFR with multilink interfaces

Routers 3 and 4 can communicate no problem. Router 5's multilink interface
is constantly going up and down. The configuration (except for interface
number) is the same on all three routers.

Here is the config on the suspect router (R5)

interface Serial1/0
 no ip address
 encapsulation frame-relay
 frame-relay lmi-type cisco
!
interface Serial1/0.503 point-to-point
 frame-relay interface-dlci 503 ppp Virtual-Template1
!
interface Serial1/0.513 point-to-point
 frame-relay interface-dlci 513 ppp Virtual-Template1
!

interface Virtual-Template1
 no ip address
 ppp multilink
 ppp multilink group 1

interface Virtual-Template1
 no ip address
 ppp multilink
 ppp multilink group 1
end

interface Multilink1
 ip address 145.1.0.5 255.255.255.0
 no cdp enable
 ppp multilink
 ppp multilink group 1
end

Has anyone experienced this before?

TIA,
Bill
