Hello,
I am going thru the QoS excercises and am kind a
confused on task 8.3 of Lab 9. I think the lab 11 task
8.2 is similar to this one but the answers are
different based on the formula/calculation:
e.g. in task 8.3 of lab 9 the formula used do
calculate Be is i believe the following:
Be= Tc x AR - CiR [so we do Tc x AR first and then
subtract it with Cir]. This give the right answer
according to the solution which is 80000
Doing similar calculation for lab 11 the answer does
not correspond to the solution unless you do the
following:
Be= Tc x (AR-Cir) [do the subtraction first and then
the multiplication]
I do not see the difference of requirement in the two
labs or am i missing any thing ?
Is there an an error in the solution of lab 9 task 8.3
but there is a post by Brian verifying the
calculation.
Can some one shed some light on this please...is Be
calculation in lab 9 correct by doing Be= Tc x AR -
CiR [so we do Tc x AR first and then subtract it with
Cir] ?
Thank You,
