Hey Mark et al,

Thanks for the input. It's much appreciated.

At Chuck Church's suggestion, I looked at the Sandisk Cruzer product and saw
something that looked intriguing.

They claim to have software that keeps your Outlook in sync. I'm not 100%
sure exactly what they're talking about but if it's what I'm thinking this
would be great for me.

I have a desktop which is my primary PC and has my Outlook contact list
(very valuable), several years of GS posts (extremely valuable) and other
important email.

I also have a laptop which I use when I'm traveling for work. It doesn't
have any of my Outlook stuff. But, it sure would be great if it did.

Is it possible that this Outlook sync software could be used to sync
everything on my Desktop with my laptop? Cause, that would be great.

Thanks, Tim

Had the high-end Lexar, Sony's, multiple Cruzer's (Titanium, Mini, etc...)

Both were very durable until you drop them, a drop of water hits them, or a
young child was nearby :)

So after taping up a few casings and spending some time with the soldering
iron...

I found the (Corsair) Flash Voyager - and I love it.

1. It is less expensive than most (2GB ~$100. USD),
2. It has a rubber casing that is easy to grip

3. Between the rubber casing and cap it is also water resistant

4. 10-year warranty (by that time you'll have a 2TB flash drive instead?)

The 512MB's are ~ $40. and the 4GB's are ~ $180.

*I would get a minimum 1GB, that way you can be

sure you have enough room for future IOS images :)

I bought a 1gb SanDisk cruzer mini flash drive for $50 including shipping,
from Ebay. It's 2 inches long and about as thin as an ipod nano. works with
imb, works with mac, needs no installation software.....just awesome. a
coworker bought the same thing a year ago for $110. you also get 8gb flash
drives now but those babies are quite expensive.
