How to Copy my config file back to the rack?

Hi,

I have get my configuration file from the the online rack provider via
email. I want to put it to my home rack. My problem is i tftp 12.2(17)T to
2620 router. When i use "copy tftp run" or "copy start run", it can not
erase my previous running-config file. If i first copy it to startup file
and reload the router, i will lose my IOS. Is there a better way to input
the config file without reload the router?
