Connectivity
Hi guys
Need some input on the following possible scenario:
A friend is working on providing connectivity between petrol stations in
Afghanistan. There could be as many as 100 stations but for now the focus is
7. There are no telephone lines at these locations only 2 mobile phone
companies operating. Some locations have 1 mobile company (A) operating some
locations have the other one mobile company (B). Satellite communications are
very expensive for this connectivity. Tasks at hand are:
1) Connect theses sites
2) Recommend and operate appropriate software for fuel stations - each station
should link back to main station at least twice a day to exchange all stock
etc data
3) Must have some add on module for the future to connect the supermarkets
inside the fuel stations for same purpose of stock etc data exchange.
Need your thoughts on appropriate software (may be not so connection hungry
etc) and possible methods to connect these sites without laying cables etc.
Many thanks for your help.
Dave
