I have also experienced the same thing when running 2 or more server
mode in a domain. Some vlans (not all) will not be reached. Also reload
solve the problem, but will resurface after some days (this was on live
net).

Lab4 task doesnot specific using server or client mode. So my personally
idea is that we can use either server mode on both site or one as a
client.
However, from my experience many time while I was working in lab
workbook, while using server mode on both sites. Sometime, after I
created vlan on one site but it wasn't propagate through trunk to
another site. So I had to clear vlan database or reload sw to fix the
problem. I am not sure someone will have the same experience. So most of
the time if it doesnot have wording for that.. I will use one as a
server and one as a client.
