I haven't seen any sentence say that we can not use more than one servers
mode at the same time. Maybe I miss something. However, I believe that the
reason that cisco recommend not to use it at the same time cause u can screw
up vlan by some mistake from one site.
 However, when using more than one server mode, the one that has highest VTP
config revision will be the primary.
  Right! You have to explicitly configure client mode. Also you can
configured vlan on either site on server mode(more than one) becasue it will
propagate into the same VTP domain.
