Thanks for the info on the Checkits. I agree that it would be great to have a
review with the proctor on what you did (or didn't do). This would help the
learning efforts and gain more of an understanding of what Cisco wants to see
in configuration. But they may not be interested in that, otherwise they
probably would have already implemented that feature. I believe they used to
do something like this when the lab was 2 days.

I have done both and they have different merits. The checkit is great
as you have access to both configs and you can do show commands
on both your config and there's like a virtual set of routers so you
can see the impact of what you did or didn't do which helps in
knowing you wer not right and why.

I did the lab with the chat with Brian afterwords I passed the lab
so there was little to talk about on the actual lab. But I did get
a chance to ask some technical questions which was useful I
find it easier to discuss issues verbally than via email.

I would tend to go for the checkit labs to hone your skills long term.
The IE one gives you a chance to chat with the brian(s) so might
be better for some people.

Re-reads seem to be a waste of money, I long for the days when
you discussed your results face to face with the proctor maybe
this will come back.

Kevin
