Is it a must to use VTP to propagate RSPAN vlan (i.e. all switches in
the path from source to destination switch running VTP server/client)?

If all switches are transparent mode and added RSPAN vlan in all
switches (surely using the vlan-id < 1024 and adding remote-span in
this vlan), does it work ?
