I have a general question about RipNG
Example:
I have two routers connected via e0/0 R1 e0/0 and lo0 belongs to AREA1 and
R2 e0/0 belongs to AREA2. Should the R2 see R1 since its in a different RIP
area. I labbed this up and was able to see the lo0 on R2 in a different
area. Is this normal, or should it behave like ISIS does with different
areas. The docs i have read just say you need to use the process ID but
nothing about what happens if they dont match. Thanks in advance.
