I am really surprised that they took ISDN off the Labs. There is a lot
of ISDN BRI/PRI being used all over the place atleast in India. So
that leaves us with Frame-Relay, PPP and HDLC as L2 Protocol.
May be we will soon see a lot of Ethernet and Campus network related
stuff on the LAB. Looks like the Catalyst Switch is going gain
significance in the Labs. I expect more stuff on IPv6, Multicast,
MetroEthernet (CPE End), may be a bit of MPLS (CPE End) and Wireless
LAN.
All I can say is, with CCIE LABs things are always interesting. If you
have not passed your exams in a while then they give you a bunch of
new topics to play with !!! :)
