Are there any performance or other differences in comparing the
following two configurations:
Layer 3 Interfaces:
int fa1/0
ip address 1.1.1.1 mask 255.255.255.252
router eigrp 10
network 1.0.0.0
compared to:
Switched Virtual Interfaces:
int fa1/0
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan 100
int vlan 100
ip address 1.1.1.1 mask 255.255.255.252
router eigrp 10
network 1.0.0.0
