Tim,

I think its specific to ISIS.
ISIS does the summary at the outgoing of ISIS process only.
(configuring summary under router isis). will not effect
redistribute isis under router ospf in same router.....So we have to
summary- address again at router ospf process.

I dont have a reference link to explain more. But this same scenario
came across one IE excercises IE lab 2. (at R2 IGP section)
