remember the techology is more rapid in change than during the CatOS days.

Look how long the old CatOS boxes stayed in the lab. Of course, the 3560s
are the same price right now as the 3550s so if you're buying new I would

Yeah... Cisco just announced EOS/EOL for 3550 as well. Soon lab hardware
will be replace with 3560 or 3750 I guess
