Hi again,

consider this config :
<--R6 is the calling party
R5 :
username R6 password 0 cisco
!
interface BRI0/0
 ppp authentication chap callin
 ppp chap hostname cisco5
 ppp chap password cisco

R6 :
username cisco5 password 0 cisco
!
interface BRI0/0
 ppp authentication chap
>

1 - What's the function of < ppp chap password cisco > on R5 since we already have
     < username R6 password 0 cisco > ?!
2 - How can it override the password, since it need to lookup by hostname, please explain.
3 - If the < username R6 password 0 cisco > is no longer nedeed, so how does it do the lookup ?
4 - Can i use aaa for BOTH lookup in a single authentication session ?
