Thanks Marvin/ James for your insight :-)

Though my top priority now is to get my R & S number , I needed to broaden
my skill set (kind of employer requirement) particularly when we are
embarking on a large scale VOIP implementation on our WAN. And as Marvin
pointed out , may be CCVP courses , just like CCNP will individually tackle
each module more thoroughly than CCIE Voice Written. Hence may be worth
while to go for them.

Perhaps next year with R & S # and CCVP under belt , I can move forward with
my CCIE Voice track prep.

And more importantly this CCVP studies will help me survive in the current
job I guess even though they cause significant distraction to my ongoing R &
S lab studies.
