Hi Mark,

I would like to know the real world guidelines you mentioned are calculated on what basis ?

Is it a CPU limitation, routing-table size limitation or what ?

Some VRFs can have as few as 100 routes, where as other VRFs can have much more.

Also do you have some real world figures for the 7xxx series routers.

Regards,
Yasser

3745 - 15 vrfs
3725 - 15 vrfs
3660 - 15 vrfs
3640 - 5 vrfs
3620 - 5 vrfs
3750 metro - 26 vrfs

You can use the 'show idb' command.
