Hi Swaroop,

thank you for the response. I actually checked this out and to get the
client-id in hexadecimel the debug must be run on the DHCP server side. The
command to use is "debug ip dhcp server" I think. Debugging DHCP detail on
the client only gives the client ID in the format listed below.
