If you want to be able to ping your self with a BRI
isdn interface , would you map your own layer 3 to one
of your local DN's ? I have taken say R1 with 1 bri
interface and have the following:

interface bri0/0
 description local DN is 2221
 ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0
 isdn switch-type basic-ni
 isdn spid1 4082221
 isdn spid2 4082222
 dialer-group 1
 encap ppp
dialer map ip 192.168.1.1 name R1 broadcast 1111
dialer map ip 192.168.1.2 name SELF broadcast 2221
dialer map ip 192.168.1.3 name R3 broadcast 3331

With the above I can ping all layer 3 addresses , but
the links go up and down , I would suppose in the real
world we wouldnt want that... So is there a different
method to map your local IP to ???
