BGP as-path and origin preservation

Few questions or rather confirmations, if anyone has a moment.

1.To carry an IGPs metric within a bgp route's MED field, use: set
metric-type internal

2.To copy as-path and origin information from BGP to an IGP tag use a
route-map containing: set automatic-tag (referenced by the table-map
command)
   * OSPF automatically set as-path information into the tag field during
redistribution.

3.To recover BGP as-path information from an IGP use a route-map containing:
set as-path tag

This is my understanding of the bgp as-path and origin information
preservation. As far as redistribution goes is are these statements correct?
