Hello,

Without the Warning-only keyword a warning will be issued when the router
receive 75% from the max-limit. When the limit is reached the connection
will be dropped.

Using the warning-only keyword at the end of the command should do the
requirement for you.
This will make the router send a warning when the router receives 75% from
the max-limit. Yet, the connection will not be dropped if the routes
exceeded the limit.

I guess it should be ok with the warning-only keyword.

Requirement: Use the simplest way to Send a
notification if there are more than 200 paths from a
special neighbor.

I think it should be done with

BGP maximum-prefix, but by this way I also limit the
maximum-prefix from the special neighbor. I should
only send a notification but not limit the number of
paths.

Even if I use:

neighbor ip-address maximum-prefix 20000 1
warning-only,

I still limit the number of paths from the special
neighbor.

Any idea?
